Our practice, in plain terms

Kareer Score does not sell personal data for money. We also do not use personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising, so under most state definitions we do not “share” personal data in the way this right is aimed at either. The one place data leaves our systems for a non-essential purpose is optional analytics cookies (see our Privacy Policy), which you can opt out of below. This page exists so you have a clear, dedicated way to exercise that choice and your other state privacy rights, even though our current data practices are limited in scope.

Global Privacy Control

As required by California law (effective January 2026, and required by a growing number of other US state privacy laws), we automatically detect and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request, if your browser or a browser extension sends this signal, we process it as an opt-out automatically, with no further action needed from you. The toggle below shows whether we detected that signal on your current browser.

Who this applies to

This page is provided to comply with state privacy laws that include a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and/or targeted advertising, including California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in other US states (e.g. Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Delaware, Minnesota, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey). You do not need to prove residency to use the toggle above, but formal requests below may ask for enough information to verify your identity and state of residence.

Your other rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request its deletion or correction, or receive a copy of it. These rights are described in full in our Privacy Policy. To submit any of these requests, use the Contact page (or Support@KareerScore.com) and tell us which right you're exercising. If you have a Kareer Score account, submitting the request while signed in helps us verify it's really you.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of your written authorization and may still need to verify your identity directly before completing the request.

Non-discrimination

We will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

Minors

Kareer Score is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal data of users under 16.

Changes to this page

If our data practices change in a way that affects this page (for example, if we begin working with an advertising partner in a way that counts as a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law), we will update this page and the opt-out mechanism above accordingly.
